3D Scan ; It is the process of transferring parts that do not have CAD data to the computer environment. Today, when we want to produce the part using CNC machines or 3D Printers, we need the CAD data of the part. We can use 3D Scanning devices to control the quality of manufactured parts.

The 3D Laser Scanner is a measuring machine with advanced technology that transfers the objects to the computer environment (digital environment) in the form of coordinated point clouds at frequent intervals with the laser beams it sends from the position where it is located for measurement. In a short time, the environment is measured with laser beams and millions of point clouds are obtained. In the measurements made with 3D Laser Scanners, the Point Cloud is obtained without touching the part and without damaging the part surface.

The Scanner allows us to Scan and Obtain Point Cloud without any damage or fragmentation of the internal parts of the parts.

CT of Computed Tomography and CT scanning of industrial parts use the same type of technology as the CT scanning machines of the medical field – taking multiple reads from various angles and converting CT grayscale images into voxel-based 3D point clouds. After the CT scanner creates the point cloud, we can perform Quality Control with a CAD part and generate the CAD data by using Reverse Engineering software of the part.

Advantages;

•      Parts obtain non-destructive internal structure,

•       Produces extremely precise internal dimensions,

• Allows comparison with CAD model,

•       There is no shaded area,

•       Compatible with all shapes and sizes,

•       Doesn’t require post-procedure work,

•       Perfect resolution is achieved.
