Carbon Emissions Consultancy

Corporate carbon management is expressed in ton carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2eq) as the carbon dioxide equivalent of the greenhouse gases that are released into the atmosphere as a result of all the activities of an institution and cause climate change.

ISO 14064-1 Calculation of Corporate Carbon Footprint

The communiqué on the Regulation on the Monitoring of Greenhouse Gas Emissions was published in the Official Gazette No. 29068 on 22 July 2014.

This regulation is an important move within the scope of combating climate change, and sectors such as electricity and steam production, oil refining, petrochemistry, cement, iron-steel, aluminum, brick, ceramics, lime, paper and glass production, which constitute a significant part of national greenhouse gas emissions, It regulates the methods and main issues regarding the monitoring, verification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions originating from the plant at the facility level.

With this regulation, it will be ensured that greenhouse gas emissions are systematically monitored at the facility level and regularly reported to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, and greenhouse gas emissions will be calculated more clearly throughout the country.

With the verification system established within the scope of the regulation, the emission reports prepared on the basis of the facility will be checked for accuracy by on-site inspection.
