Pick to Light devices show the operator the parts that need to be collected and assembled at every step. A screen side by side can show the operator the assembly tasks.

Pick to Light Sensors work as follows;

• Operators scan product barcodes that are attached to temporary or reusable storage bins, such as shipping cartons.
• The system’s LED lights illuminate the path to guide the operator to the designated storage location.
• There the system then shows how many houses and from which items it should be selected.
• The operator selects the products and places them in the temporary storage container and then presses the button to confirm the collection.
• The system continues in this way and the light guidance continues until all product items are placed in their respective temporary storage containers.

Unlike other storage systems, the light path allows for quick collection without a list. This allows for faster product picking while maintaining inventory accuracy.
